June 7 Worship

Come People Of The Risen King

Come people of the Risen King Who delight to bring Him praise

Come all and tune your hearts to sing To the Morning Star of grace

From the shifting shadows of the earth We will lift our eyes to Him

Where steady arms of mercy reach To gather children in

Chorus: Rejoice rejoice let ev'ry tongue rejoice

One heart one voice O Church of Christ rejoice

Come those whose joy is morning sun And those weeping through the night

Come those who tell of battles won And those struggling in the fight

For His perfect love will never change And His mercies never cease

But follow us through all our days With the certain hope of peace

Come young and old from ev'ry land Men and women of the faith

Come those with full or empty hands Find the riches of His grace

Over all the world His people sing Shore to shore we hear them call

The truth that cries through ev'ry age Our God is all in all

Behold The Lamb

Behold the Lamb who bears our sins away Slain for us and we remember

The promise made that all who come in faith

Find forgiveness at the cross

So we share in this Bread of Life And we drink of His sacrifice

As a sign of our bonds of peace Around the table of the King

The body of our Saviour Jesus Christ Torn for you eat and remember

The wounds that heal the death that brings us life

Paid the price to make us one

So we share in this Bread of Life And we drink of His sacrifice

As a sign of our bonds of love Around the table of the King

The blood that cleanses every stain of sin

Shed for you drink and remember

He drained death's cup that all may enter in To receive the life of God

So we share in this Bread of Life And we drink of His sacrifice

As a sign of our bonds of grace Around the table of the King

And so with thankfulness and faith we rise To respond and to remember

Our call to follow in the steps of Christ As His body here on earth

As we share in His suffering We proclaim Christ will come again

And we'll join in the feast of heaven Around the table of the King

Is He Worthy

Do you feel the world is broken? We do

Do you feel the shadows deepen? We do

But do you know that all the dark won't stop the light from getting through? We do

Do you wish that you could see it all made new? We do

Is all creation groaning? It is. Is a new creation coming? It is

Is the glory of the Lord To be the light within our midst? It is

Is it good that we remind ourselves of this? It is

Is anyone worthy? Is anyone whole?

Is anyone able to break the seal and open the scroll?

The Lion of Judah who conquered the grave

He is David's Root And the Lamb who died to ransom the slave

Is He worthy? Is He worthy Of all blessing and honor and glory?

Is He worthy of this? He is

Does the Father truly love us? He does

Does the Spirit move among us? He does

And does Jesus our Messiah Hold forever those He loves? He does

Does our God intend to dwell again with us? He does

Is anyone worthy? Is anyone whole?

Is anyone able to break the seal and open the scroll?

The Lion of Judah who conquered the grave

He is David's Root And the Lamb who died to ransom the slave

From ev'ry people and tribe every nation and tongue

He has made us a kingdom and priests To God to reign with the Son

Is He worthy? Is He worthy Of all blessing and honor and glory?

Is He worthy? Is He worthy? Is He worthy of this? He is

Is He worthy? Is He worthy? He is He is

Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing

Come, Thou Fount of every blessing Tune my heart to sing Thy grace

Streams of mercy, never ceasing Call for songs of loudest praise

Teach me some melodious sonnet Sung by flaming tongues above

Praise the Name, I'm fixed upon it Name of Thy redeeming love

Hitherto Thy love has blessed me Thou has brought me to this place

And I know Thy hand will bring me Safely home by Thy good grace

Jesus sought me when a stranger Wandering from the fold of God

He, to rescue me from danger Bought me with His precious blood

Oh to grace how great a debtor Daily I'm constrained to be

Let Thy goodness now, like a fetter Bind my wandering heart to Thee

Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it Prone to leave the God I love

Here's my heart, Lord, take and seal it Seal it for Thy courts above

Oh that day when freed from sinning I shall see Thy lovely face

Full arrayed in blood-washed linen How I'll sing Thy sovereign grace

Come, my Lord, no longer tarry Bring Thy promises to pass

For I know Thy power will keep me Till I'm home with Thee at last

King Of Kings

In the darkness we were waiting Without hope without light

Till from Heaven You came running There was mercy in Your eyes

To fulfil the law and prophets To a virgin came the Word

From a throne of endless glory To a cradle in the dirt

Chorus: Praise the Father Praise the Son Praise the Spirit three in one

God of Glory Majesty Praise forever to the King of Kings

To reveal the kingdom coming And to reconcile the lost

To redeem the whole creation You did not despise the cross

For even in Your suffering You saw to the other side

Knowing this was our salvation Jesus for our sake You died

And the morning that You rose All of heaven held its breath

Till that stone was moved for good For the Lamb had conquered death

And the dead rose from their tombs And the angels stood in awe

For the souls of all who'd come To the Father are restored

And the Church of Christ was born Then the Spirit lit the flame

Now this Gospel truth of old Shall not kneel shall not faint

By His blood and in His Name In His freedom I am free

For the love of Jesus Christ Who has resurrected me

Elijah

1 Kings 17:21 Then he (Elijah) stretched himself upon the child three times and cried to the Lord, “O Lord my God, let this child’s life come into him again.” 22 And the Lord listened to the voice of Elijah. And the life of the child came into him again, and he revived. ESV

Elisha

2 Kings 4:32 When Elisha came into the house, he saw the child lying dead on his bed. 33 So he went in and shut the door behind the two of them and prayed to the Lord. ESV

John 11:25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, 26 and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?" ESV

    B. Triumph over death comes only through Jesus (23-26)

Rom 5:21 …so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. ESV

    B. Transformation comes through faith in Jesus (22)

Great Is Thy Faithfulness

Great is Thy faithfulness O God my Father

There is no shadow Of turning with Thee

Thou changest not Thy compassions they fail not

As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be

Chorus

Great is Thy faithfulness Great is Thy faithfulness

Morning by morning New mercies I see

All I have needed Thy hand hath provided

Great is Thy faithfulness Lord unto me

Summer and winter And springtime and harvest

Sun moon and stars In their courses above

Join with all nature In manifold witness

To Thy great faithfulness Mercy and love

Pardon for sin And a peace that endureth

Thy own dear presence To cheer and to guide

Strength for today And bright hope for tomorrow

Blessings all mine With ten thousand beside
