TJ has been serving on staff at OLBC since 2014. His desire is to partner with the middle school and high school students and their families to make disciples who love God and want to become more like Jesus. He loves that OLBC is a gospel rooted, Bible centered, theologically driven church in the heart of Oak Lawn. TJ and his wife Heidi have four children, Bethany, Ezra, Joshua, and Daniel. TJ and Heidi grew up in Michigan but have spent most of their adult life in the south side of Chicago. He graduated from Moody Bible Institute with a BA in youth ministry and then received a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary in Pastoral Ministry and Theology. He loves warm weather, hammocks, water, fishing, Detroit Tigers baseball (and pretty much all Michigan sports teams), board games, Chicago food, and being around people.

  • Worship Director

Dan came to OLBC in 2015. His passion is to see people worship God as he has revealed himself in the Bible. He leads the music in our worship services, and is responsible for leading the music ministry and tech team. He also leads the small groups ministry at OLBC. Dan has a BA in music and youth ministry from The Master's College, and a ThM in Pastoral Ministry and New Testament from Dallas Theological Seminary. He loves his wife Ashley and their daughters Charis, Ellie, and Lucy. When he's not busy with family and church, he enjoys following San Francisco Giants baseball and Manchester United football (soccer).
