Small Groups At OLBC

"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."

Proverbs 27:17 (NIV)

"Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another -- and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV)

Being a follower of Jesus is something we were never intended to do alone. We become a part of a community-- the local church.  Living life together with other Christ-followers is crucial for our spiritual growth. In a world where we increasingly lack close connection with people, small groups provide a venue for us to grow together by living life together. They are vital in fulfilling our values of Biblical Community and Spiritual Formation. We encourage one another. We hold each other accountable. We get into God's Word together. We serve together. We are authentic about our struggles and generous with grace towards each other. We love God well by loving each other well.

Small groups meet at various times throughout the south suburbs.

Most of our groups meet in the evening twice a month.
